" Exploring the Secret Lives of L.A.'s Urban Mammals: A Community Effort "
Urban mammals are an elusive taxonomic group to study. Further, traditional study methods are not sufficient to comprehensively examine their distribution due to the amount of private property that exist in urban areas. Technology and community science has not only allowed me with unprecedented access but it has also made my research more engaging and accessible.
