" Coral Eco-Immunity in a Disease Landscape of Unknowns "

Coral reefs are critical habitat builders and biodiversity hubs. However, many species are critically under threat due to anthropogenic climate change and subsequent disease outbreaks. Corals possess a very complex and diverse immune system that is important for their survival. This talk will explore the role of the coral immune system in the face of disease outbreaks from the cell to genes.
