" Beyond reproductive isolation: the roles of population isolation & persistence on speciation "

Reproductive isolation is often conceived as being central to the formation of species, but other stages in the speciation process can influence the tempo and mode at which species form. In this talk, I will explore two other possible controls on speciation rate, population isolation and population persistence, using empirical data from Australian and Brazilian squamates.

Refreshments will be served at 11:40 a.m.
