" Translational Infectious Disease Eco-epidemiology: Yellow Fever Across Continents "
Most emerging infectious diseases and pandemics are zoonotic or vector-borne in origin. Yet gaps remain in translating the local ecology and epidemiology of these pathogens to inform clinical and public health decision-making. In this talk, I demonstrate how we can improve early detection and mitigation of yellow fever, a deadly mosquito-borne disease, focusing on our current collaborations in Ghana and Colombia.
