Students who wish to apply to a major in the Division of Life Sciences as a TRANSFER student must complete the following prior to matriculation at UCLA:
- One (1) year of General Biology with Lab*
*Preferably equivalent to Life Sciences 1 and Life Sciences 2 at UCLA.
- One (1) year of General Chemistry with Lab
- One (1) year of Calculus
- One (1) semester of Organic Chemistry with Lab
- Second semester of Organic Chemistry with Lab
- One (1) year of Calculus-based Physics
TRANSFER APPLICANTS, FALL 2008 AND LATER:
Transfer students who are not admitted to UCLA as a major in the Division of Life Sciences may not change to a Life Sciences major upon matriculation to UCLA.
