Research Interest

For my thesis, I am studying what drives escape behavior in urban and rural dark-eyed juncos. I am looking at the role individual variation plays in these behaviors, as well as contextual influences (such as pedestrian activity).

Generally, my interests are in urban ecology and animal behavior, with an increasing interest in the influence of urban design on these topics.
