Climate, people and coastal marine species: past, present and future


The coastal ocean is among the habitats most impacted and threatened by climate change, resource exploitation and other human activities. In this talk I will provide an overview of our ongoing efforts to understand how human impacts are affecting coastal marine species in California and also highlight the type of work needed to develop better predictions for the future of these ecosystems.
