EEB Graduate Student Kenneth J. Chapin received a Lewis and Clark Fund for Exploration and Field Research Grant. He has been approved for a grant in the amount of $5,000 in support of his proposed research.
Recipients of grants are known as Lewis and Clark Field Scholars. Initial awards were supported by a benefaction from the late Stanford Ascherman, MD, of San Francisco, which came to the American Philosophical Society through the Stanford Ascherman/Baruch Blumberg Fund for Basic Science.
