Specialization in Computing
A Specialization In Computing is available for majors in the Department of Ecology, and Evolutionary Biology. If your major is Biology; Ecology, Behavior, and Evolution; Marine Biology; or Plant Biology, you may choose to complete a Specialization in Computing by
- satisfying all the requirements for a bachelor's degree in your major,
- completing Program in Computing 10A, 10B, 10C, 30, and 60*; and
- completing one course from the following group: EEB C159, Computer Science M196B, Geography 168, or Psychology 186A or B.
*Math 61 can be substituted for PIC 60.
(A grade of C- or better is required in each course, with a combined GPA in the specialization of at least 2.0.)
To enroll in the Specialization in Computing, you must be a major in the Department of Organismic Biology, Ecology, and Evolution, and must have completed Program in Computing 10A and 10B with a grade of C- or above. Then, fill out a petition in the EEB Undergraduate Office (LS 2325).
