Research Interests
My research interests are the phylogenetic systematics and biogeography of opisthobranch mollusks, a highly derived group of marine gastropods that have developed aposematic colorations and chemical defenses to replace the reduction or loss of the shell. My work attempts to provide light on the classification and evolution of the group using both molecular and morphological characters, but also to understand the biogeographic implications of the phylogenetic hypotheses produced.
